i-Pace auto-steer. Yikes.

    Why doesn’t the initial lane-with-green-wheel graphic stay between the gauges when the autosteer is on, instead of that static image of the car? Seems a waste of screen real estate and the little icon showing it’s active is not exactly prominent.

    This is a "tesla" site, so I would expect this thread to go a certain direction. But will remind people that Auto-Pilot is far from perfect. The many noted auto-pilot accidents are evidence that no Level 2 autonomy is remotely perfect. Tesla's system is almost certainly more advanced, but Jaguar's system is in its infancy. It has the benefit of over the air updates as does the Tesla and therefore, as with the Tesla AP, will likely improve over time. The key think to always remember, never trust your life with any version of Level 2 autonomy. You need to ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION AND ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HANDS ON THE WHEEL. If you do this, either system will be a pleasure to have.

    Obviously you really shouldn't need a prominent icon. After all, you should be looking out of the windshield to monitor and take over as required. But if you're not sure, you only need to glance. Audible alerts and _obvious_ visual indicators are _way_ more important than have large visual indicators.

    At 4m10s, autosteer shut off without any warning.
