I thought Tesla was a fix-it-yourself type of company? What gives?

I just want to know how to pop the rear seat back plastic cover off because they obviously forgot some kind of rattle damping. I don't want to have to schedule a visit and drop the car off, etc, etc, etc, for something trivial like that.
If you are talking about the trim around the latch points for the third row seats, they are held in place with common “garnish clips”. Pulls out, pops in. Replace any damaged or missing clips. You can find more info in the Service Bulletin for the third row seat install. See Fig 60.

I'm just talking about buying a shop manual and the lack of my enthusiasm to want to afford such a "rented" luxury.
Tesla is very much the opposite of a fix it yourself company which is why there isn't many options to service a tesla outside of a handful of shops and their own service center. They prefer to keep it that way which is why the "right to repair" act was so important to people. Also lots of companies like Toyota/Lexus have a service based subscription to access repair info/wiring diagrams etc.

Tesla is the antithesis of "fix it yourself". Their entire business model and defensive posture on service is to make you as reliant on them as possible.
