How do you control the stupid perk that is cowbell music? Today I turned it on by accident and it just kept on playing for next 10 minutes. I could not mute it. Even after I parked and opened the door it was still playing loud.... WTF.

Don't worry about it, from now on you will only put it on, on purpose .

In my year of ownership , I have never put it on by accident , only when I truly have the fever and need more Cowbell !

Nothing should ever cancel / override The Cowbell , except perhaps the Fart mode .
