I've been lurking/posting on these threads since back in 2013, and was fortunate enough to work for Tesla from July 2017 through September of 2021. I know how incredibly passionate Tesla's customer base is, and I also know how passionate the staff is. It probably comes as no surprise that both groups are very similar in that way.

Thought it would be fun to sit down and go through memory lane with you all. The video clocks at 50 minutes and it was just scratching the surface, so make sure to bring some popcorn. Pretty amazing how much you can experience in 4 years!

Couple reasons - gained amazing financial security both from previous investments and Tesla itself, and wanted to pursue a few passions. Wife and I are also taking a year to travel the world. We’re very very lucky people.
