A wonderful article about converting classic cars to electrics using recycled Tesla batteries. I love that you can keep the clutch.

Motor shaft gets coupled directly to tranny input shaft since clutch is now superfluous. You only need to dry shift into another gear as you enter a different operating environment such as off-road, city streets or highways. So: motor > adapter plate > clutch housing.
