Icelands stalwart EV importer finally gets his Telsa Model S

"The self-described "crazy Viking" does not give up, and that's why he will be getting his Model S soon. He signed the papers last week, and told AutoblogGreen he thinks he will get the first Model S in Europe at some point in July (We asked, but Tesla has not yet confirmed or denied this)."

Perhaps the first Euro spec cars?

Also, he is buying several cars. Is he reselling them as used or new?

1,000 Model S Ordered for Resale in Iceland?

Can someone expound on this? Or direct me to more info? I never saw it mentioned on the forum or in the news previously. This seems to line up with Elon mentioning "his largest customer" when referencing cold weather performance from time to time. Is this a private individual buying and selling as a customer with no further relationship to Tesla, or something more? Pseudo Franchise?

Did some research on this and found:

"Gislason made a splash by ordering 1,000 Teslas, but he’s on his way to fulfill at least the first part of that order, with 50 Model S cars to be delivered to Iceland in 2013. “I expect the first one in July, two more in August, 10 in September, then 38 in December,” he said. Isn't Gisli effectively becoming a Tesla dealer by doing this though?

He did the same thing in 2011 with Mercedes Benz ML 350's.
