OK this is not a new thing but it's quite annoying, especially when you need to charge. What to do when you witness it? I've tried reporting but I've yet to see any consequence (ticket, towing) for those individuals.

Leave a note saying "I'm assuming you are not sad enough to block this charging spot on purpose, but if you are I'm sure you can find counseling that will help you."

Most of this is improper or not definitive signs, it should say Electric vehicle parking only violators will be prosecuted and $200 fine car will be towed. But even then the red necks will still park there on purpose.

Put it up on cinder blocks and grab the wheels.

No need to actually commit a felony. Just tie the wheels to the roof rack. With steel cables.

No, it should say "Electric vehicle charging only." Otherwise, people will treat it as a reward for buying an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, and will park there without charging, preventing people who need to charge from doing so.

Don’t know why they can’t just say “charging only” , others will be towed and a phone number to a local tow companies. Tow truck guys love that stuff.
