Appears to be just a somewhat different way to use Google Street View. So you have it on your phone now. Not sure why it would be "crazy useful" on the Tesla center display, but to each his own...

Well, bigger screen, better view. Since the map updates screen view according to location, it will be an excellent confirmation when driving to unfamiliar locations.
