They've done a submetering pilot program (to gather the data) but now they will need to determine if they want to approve this program. What submetering can do for us is instead of installing another panel and line to your home charger(~$5k project), we can simply have a JuiceBox meter for us and SCE can bill us based on that data.

This doesn't have to be limited to SCE, everyone can tweet to other energy providers as well.

Please chime in on this twitter thread letting them know we'd like to see the submetering program approved.
