IKON Motorsports Front Lip for Model 3: A Review

Sounds good however concerned it might be like mud flaps the don’t seat well and move around. The fit would have to be exemplary. Seat around the whole circumference of the bumper would have to perfect. Or the gaps would really be ugly. With drilling you can “pull” the seam together somewhat.

Well the edges use similar clips, but the frontal area of the lip uses bolts to tighten, albeit they are set further back so you can't tighten them up and pull the very front up very much compared to the drilled version.

I bought direct and it took a couple days to ship. I'll keep you posted on their response...hope they take of of thisView attachment 630429 View attachment 630430 . Pretty disappointed in the fit and I've been modding cars for a long time so I was not expecting OEM fit with aftermarket. Maybe an 1/8 in would have been somewhat acceptable but this is way too big. I do like the look and rest of the fitment though. Here are some pics.

What did Ikon say about your matte fitment? I am considering this as well.
From what I can see from your front photo, the lip is shifted to the drivers side ever so slightly. If you reposition the lip then the gap will be smaller, albeit on both sides rather than one..

osted this on the wrong thread. Picked up at ikon yesterday. Just snapped on each side and the lip is sitting on top of the box. No under tray clips or double sided tape along front, just wanted to check fitment, wasn’t short on any end. Just deciding if I Should wrap it gloss black or CF.

Did the holes for the bottom line up to use existing clips underneath?

Not sure if I’m seeing this right, but is the lip wrapping around the back of the bumper? Is this a new design? If so I might have to try to get this updated version as it looks like it fits better than the version I have...

Have you guys checked JL-motoring? Theirs appears to be made by the same manufacturer in China as IKON. I've purchased some CF bits for my M4 from them a while back and they were pretty good. Doesn't look like they have a new design either, but they do still sell glossy as well as matte.
