Volkswagen keeps sending oil change coupons for our eGolf. Worse yet, now the car itself is reporting it is due for an oil change. I am really curious how they expect to pull that one off.

Now, if there were free alignments, brake fluid flushes every 25K miles, and coolant flushes (all 3 radiators) every 50K miles, we’d have coupons worth having, right there.

As an aside, Tesla gets $190 for a brake fluid flush and $225 for an alignment. I’ll have Tesla perform the brake flush and a very good independent alignment shop handle that.

As similar, I love the AAA battery replacement ad I’ve seen a hundred times on YT on all the Tesla channels I watch. Must be triggered because they are ‘car’ channels but talk about wasting money. (Yes, I could have an ICE car, but decreasing odds...)
