Important terminology question - what are we going to call the ludicrous P90D

P90D Type-L or P90D L-Type. J/k. Personally I don't think any special badging is needed. Keeps your opponents at the drag strip guessing. Are they gonna toasted or extra toasted.

so my money is on S90L (as opposed to X90L, if there will be a ludicrous X, which I hope for).

By that logic the version of the old P85 with staggered wheels and uprated suspension should just have been called the "+"

i won't refer to mine has a Performance 85D, I'll be referring to it as my Ludicrous 85D.

I don't know the linked source, but they claim to be directly quoting a Tesla spokesperson (Alexis Georgeson) who is, in fact, a Tesla PR employee.

The P85+ had a different rear badge, but from an insurance point of view (at least in the UK) the "+" was just one of P85's options, like UHF Audio or Leather Seats.
