I also could not find the wire


Anyone that can point out where it should be coming from?

If you have a 2.5 it is purple. Pull the cover where the trunk release button is. You will see a bundle of wires inside and the purple is wound around the bundle. Unwind and straighten out or as others suggest, lengthen. If you bring your car over I will do it for you

I have a 1.5 and they installed a sub/addl. 12V battery system in mine, so my wiring is VERY DIFFERENT.
My car radio and amp/sub draw power from a totally different system that comes up there, so there are 20+ wires in that space.

I was actually swapping my radio last weekend, so had the whole thing open. I could not see any wire that may be the key fob radio wire.


Now that I have had it open once, I have to say that it is super easy. I would probably open it again, if I knew that I could figure out the key fob wire ...
