    Any ideas what this might be - spotted at an under-construction supercharger site in Tordesillas, Spain?

    (apologies for the poorly formatted images - this guy on twitter screenshotted them from elsewhere, I'm trying to find the original source)

    First thought is the in-ground liquid cooled charging system shown in the Tesla patent from a few months ago (See link - Tesla patent shows new way to automated high-speed charging with external cooling) but that is just wishful thinking.

    Maybe the tree in the middle of the parking lot (first photo) is making it difficult to back in to those stalls, so they are converting to head-in?
