If they can deliver 2,500 Model 3 in September then they would be safely in third place according to this list:

The catch being that reporting sales to VFACTS is voluntary and Tesla chooses to not report their sales figures.

A potential positive headline and they are shooting themselves in the foot!

This article is from Feb, Tesla May get 2nd for the month of Sep but no where near ytd.

Edit: to clarify, the data is Jan+feb but article was written in March 19. I couldn’t find ytd for July but 2500 would have been 13th just behind Mercedes for July, next was under 2k
