actually just started buying them. Still thinking about it as the required one year plus penalty less than 5 years. Not quire as liquid as I'd like, but maybe will max. I guess I could also create an account under the spouse SSN. Pondering when to buy. I can earn pennies on a savings account then buy on the last day and get the month in interest (found that surprising). Also trying to figure out if it matters whether I buy in the first, middle, or last part of the interest period.

Yeah I maxed my wife and I, tired of seeing pennies earned in our savings account. No expert for sure just bought when I saw the interest rate!

The down payment is high though, I paid $2500 in 2019 and $250 in 2021 in the US. Are you getting your Tesla from Berlin?

I hope I'm getting it from Berlin, but as the color is Midnight silver, not sure are they producing anything but black&white yet in Berlin. Price is 76690€

no, I believe it is for the MYP. Also, Berlin is making MYP only so far. Edit: and my guess it the price includes taxes.

It's indeed Perf with 2300€ paint, no EAP whatsoever but taxes included. Silver doesn't come for free

I think if you have to ask this question, then you should wait until you are more financially stable.
