In the middle of a ReFi will ordering now result in any credit activity

I'm currently refinancing my home but dont expect to close until sometime in early October. I would like to get in line with Tesla so i can have a car around January Does reserving the car trigger any credit reporting? Anyone have any expernince with this situation? I dont want to mess up my refi but I also don't want to risk a price hike in anticipation of new Tax Credits. Thanks for any tips

Ordering on its own will not. If you choose to seek financing (loan or lease) it will, due to the credit check.

Thanks would you need to enter a SS number at the ordering stage or does that only happen when you choose your financing?

That only happens when you apply for the loan which should be about the time you receive your car
