Inaccurate charge limits?

Over the last few months, I've noticed that my car often doesn't hit the selected % for scheduled charge, and can be over/under by as much as 3-4% (e.g., charge set to 80% will result in the car being charged anywhere between 76-84%). Has anybody else seen similar behavior? It's been a year since I've drained the battery down to the single digits and am wondering if I should do that again to smack some sense into the BMS.

This is in coastal SoCal--definitely not a temperature issue.

Happens to me all the time. According to TeslaFi, my car charges to my set limit during the evening, then the SOC drops around 3% in the next 30 mins or so.

In the morning, the SOC is still about 3% down. I drive 24 miles to work and park. TeslaFi says the SOC rises about 3% over the next 30 mins before it goes to sleep. So I get the "missing" 3% back.

I'm also in Florida.

The battery will change temperature (cool a bit) after charging. The BMS can also decide to readjust its estimates of battery capacity. All normal.

Just happened to me for the first time. I always charge to 80% on my wall connector and it has been spot on. Last night it went to 85%. We did have thunderstorms last night here in Florida. Car is a refresh MX. Took delivery in February.

Normal. I'm in SoCal and have experienced the same thing. 80% sometimes yields between 78-82%
