I wish they would start to open up the FSD beta base. Here is an edge case of an intersection the current stop sign/traffic control FSD can not handle.

North is up in the picture. If you are traveling north on Kesslerville road heading toward the intersection you come over a rise. Once you crest the rise there is a “Stop here for Red Light” sign just across from the car in parking lot on west side of screen, between the two ss’s in the lower Kesslerville. Beyond that point you also have the traffic control signals for the train track followed by the traffic control for the intersection. You have to stop way back before the tracks because of the angle of the intersection. A tractor trailer making a right off of Uhler heading south does not complete the turn until after the railroad tracks. Currently the car comes over the hill at 40Mph, cameras see the control devices ahead, car can’t stop in time for “Stop Here”, slows hard, beeps but doesn’t stop for the railroad control signals, usually not on, continues up to the stop light. Now you have a problem, if a truck wants to turn right onto Kesslerville, you either, try to cross the red, try to pull into adjacent lot usually cars are there, make a right to get out of it’s way or try backing up across railroad tracks. None of these are good.

Now if you are coming South down Kesslerville entering the intersection, it does stop for the “Stop Here on Red” sign at the north side of intersection and sometimes brakes for the Railroad traffic control, right in the middle of the intersection. These would be nice examples to capture for the code warriors. Currently there is no way to report this back to them. I think these are good edge cases for them.
