On my Lexus, when I am going backward or forward slowly and it starts in increase its alert sound until you are just about to hit an object, at which time it makes a flatline sound. It's really helpful.
In my M3, I can barely hear any chime when I back up or go forward and am approaching an object. If I'm in my garage parking, and there's a wall in front of me, will it automatically stop even if I hit the accelerator?
And is there any way to raise the volume of the chime? Is there any way to make it play a more aggressive alert as I approach an object?
