    Morning
    Something happened. I have a P90
It had a max range of 294 miles per the owner i bought the car from.
I have been able to see 284 as my highest on a full charge.
After a spirited drive to vegas and back i am now seeing my 80% charge at 291 miles.
It is real in the sense that my daily commutes are now extended.
Im am real excited to see my new numbers on a full charge.
I am wondering now about the battery size
The car started out as a P85 but tesla changed the battery to a 90 as they had no 85's in stock during a routine service check.

how can this change in range occur? Was there a software update?
Could I have a larger battery pack?

i should be able to see over 300 miles now on a full charge.

    not sure what happened.
    Thoughts?
will post my 80% photo when I can get it uploaded

For the 291 miles that you are seeing, are you looking at "Ideal" or "Rated" miles?

I finally got around to looking and found it it set on ideal

Been that way since I got car

After a full charge it said 315

after my complete trip to work and back I have 270
That included 80 plus on the freeway and AC all the way
Its been over 100 every day

The rated on full charge went to 295 versus Ideal when I switched back and forth

Still is getting many more miles per charge now

New update last night but no info on what it was for

Was hoping for an Atari game.......

Perhaps there have been changes to the battery management software? Clue would be if other owners see extended range...

    Tire pressure increase from heat?

Edit: Strike the above if you are talking about rated range. If you are talking about the navigation range then it could apply.

    Then there is this thread:

Anybody else finding range increased by 2018.26?

Maybe the bms recalculated the range because of some low and high soc during the trip. Going grom 85 to 90 without propper recalibrating can give you extra projected range.

If you are on 2018.26 it may be real. My S75 range has jumped considerably on .26. Nobody wants to believe me, but it is real .

Started a thread to see if I was a unicorn or others were seeing the same. All I got was people telling me I was wrong. I assure you it is real. Yesterday I drove downtown in 95 degree heat and traffic. I averaged 228 wh/m for the trip 40-45 mph. I don’t know the rest of the number string for the release, so I might have something they are playing with. I’m not sure I ever want to update again and risk losing this.

For what it’s worth I have a late 16 75d on 26.3 and I noticed my 100% SOC went up about 2-3 miles when I charged today.
