Previously posted, and after a week's work, still as indelible as ever, this bug splat, acquired during a trip of 100+ temps, defies all manner of solutions, bug tar, ammonia, polishing compound, everything short of a cutting torch, on my black paint finish. Granted, it's only visible under a bright light reflection, but that's no comfort for this owner. And what does it bode for future splats. Am I to wipe clean all bugs at every stop?
