Late notice I know, but in case anyone in the Indianapolis area has time this evening -- stop by the monthly meet-up of the Hoosier EV Association group.
I attended last month -- it's a neat, eclectic, informal gathering of EV owners, DIY conversions, and enthusiasts. Everything from a converted Fiero to Leafs/Volts/Focus EVs and a few Th!nk City cars (which were manufactured in Elkhart, IN in 2011) were represented.
Topics last month included the BlueIndy EV car-sharing program, and the group is trying to plan a mass test-drive with that organization as a show of local support.
Come join us! The meeting location is at a local VW dealership (ironically, since VW doesn't currently sell any EVs, but the owner has L2 chargers installed at each of his several brands of dealerships anyways). L2 charging available. Would love to see Tesla represented this month!
