Induction wheel cleaner - recommendation

So. I have always cleaned my cars. I am not Pan The Organizer, but I can wash a car without scratching it, or causing swirls.

The 20” Induction wheel hubcaps are plastic (I think), so I was wondering what cleaner you guys use on them (to clean and to shine).

I have used Perl in the past, with other similar hubcaps.

Let me know your recommendations.

I do not believe the 20 inch inductions are plastic, nor hubcaps.

Perhaps not. I guess just the part covering lugnuts is plastic.

I actually haven't done mine yet I am afraid. Interested though if others have a preference on this.

Simple Green in a spray bottle, sponge and rinse well with lots of water.

I just clean them when I wash the car and use a separate microfiber cloth to dry them.

I am using waterless car wash on the wheels or P&S Brake Buster when the car is really dirty and regular wash is needed. I did get my wheels and brake caliper ceramic coated.

Been using Sonax wheel cleaners for years. It's a fantastic product that removes brake dust and road grime with ease. Most importantly, it doesn't leave any residue on the finish. I've used it on both matte and gloss finishes with great results!

I thought about getting my wheels coated as well. Just to help with the ease of cleaning.

Really dirty - I use Adam's Tire and Wheel cleaner.

Good to know about P&S Brake Buster. I will mainly be using it for the tires to get them clean before applying Carpro Perl to the tires.

TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner works incredibly well cleaning wheels. It will likely be the last wheel cleaner you'll ever buy.

Car Guys Wheel cleaner. Having a good sealant or cermic on the wheel helps. Fortunately with regen, not much brake dust as compared to an ICE with performance brakes (BMW M brakes by comparison, a cleaning nightmare).

I just washed my wheels for the 1st time using P&B BB and i found alot of residue also , even though i rinsed them really well !~

You do NOT want anything as strong as Dawn or Simple Green. They are way too acidic and will leave residue and/or damage the finish. I, too, highly recommend Sonax.

excellent results with Optimum Power Wash on wheels and tires (I use a nylon brush). Then OptiSeal on the wheels. Fantastic results. Also use their Tire Shine.

McGuire s ultimate wheel cleaner works really well. Takes out all the elbow work if you blast off with pressure washer.
