[Inform] Tesla Solar Jobs [available in various cities}

I don't know if others routine look to see what Tesla jobs are listed in your area on sources like Indeed, but occasionally I do. Was checking to see if they were hiring yet for a new service center that will be in Gilroy (would be a customer, not employee). Didn't see anything listed yet but did see a number of solar positions. Presently here in the SF Bay area I'm seeing positions listed as "Urgently hiring". Jobs range from Energy System Designer (btw Weekend work will be required), Field Intallation Supervisor, Powerwall Installation Supervisor, Solar Foreman, Crew Lead/Supervisor - Solar, Licensed Electrician, PV Designer. It's good to see they are expanding their teams to address the demand. BTW I did this search for a few cities around the country and saw similar listings there too. Some also listed as Urgently hiring.

I hear from all type of places cannot find qualified folks. Especially when government pays one to stay home and not work

Given the boom in solar, I am pretty sure these people are in short supply and can command some nice salaries. Plus Tesla gives stock options. The supervisor on our job sold a few shares to take the family on vacation to Hawaii!

Hopefully, people working in other energy fields like gas and oil will see the writing on the wall and be able to move over.

Also given that this thread is about jobs and not solar installs or support, I am fully aware of what type of discourse / conversation a thread like this will generally generate (see post #2). Given that, I am leaving this thread here, but locking it, as this is not the place to discuss job availability, government programs around such, etc.)
