While this subforum is here on TMC, its important to understand that any transaction is between the parties involved in the transaction. While we normally warn caution and making sure you vet your purchase like you normally would for an online purchase with a stranger, its come to our attention that some parties seem to be targeting users specifically with Wheel and Tire purchases.
We recommend extra vigilance with any purchases, but are informing people that some of these purchases seem to be targeted by person(s) with the intent to defraud / scam. Please ensure you are doing your due diligence on such transactions, and check members posting history, etc, in addition to any other checks and balances you might use, such as only payment methods that can be reversed, etc.
