No sign yet in Australia. I imagine there will be a somewhat of a delay before it is rolled out outside of North America.
Then of course there is the unknown effect of Covid19.
I have a 2014 Model S 85 with AP1 and am hoping that the existing MCU, replaced in 2018 under warranty, will last until the new MCU2 is available.

Anyone in Asia region or Australia received any word about MCU 1 to 2 upgrade?

I asked in Hong Kong, according to 1 sales rep, it will apparently never be available in HK.
Probably off tangent. I am in New Zealand, with an MS imported from Hong Kong. I upgraded to MCU2, and did not get Netflix, YouTube, etc., and games that come with MCU2. According to Tesla, it's because of the vehicle config, and it's not allowed in Hong Kong

I was quoted $1,280 for IC change out and $1,500 on top of that for TC and MCU... worth it?

My IC glue is leaking, so it should be changed... TS screen has some yellowing, but that's fixable with UV light.

MCU 2 for a 2013 Model S - would only get me netflix?
