Initial AP software roll out -- HW2 better or worse than HW1?

Obviously there's a lot of noise about the current beta release for HW2. I was wondering how this compares to the initial AP software release for HW1.

Anyone who has experience with both initial versions?

I have not. I have AP1. But from what I have read, they launched AP1 with a lot more functionality than AP2 right out of the gate. I totally get why they are taking it slower this time. I think they are being smart. But it would be killing me if I had bought it!

If you're rating it strictly on how well it stays between lines, my guess would be that AP2 does a better job. When AP first came out, the car would bounce between the lines all the time.
