So instead of getting the mcu2, I decided to try mirroring my phone and get some of mcu2s features. Here’s a quick vid i did After I installed it

Very nice! So I guess it's really all about entertainment apps?So instead of getting the mcu2, I decided to try mirroring my phone and get some of mcu2s features. Here’s a quick vid i did After I installed it
Well the first thing I did was mirror my iPhone so Apple Maps, Waze etc was better for nav. Then I started with Netflix, but i said hmm since it’s just an hdmi out what if I used an Apple TV. It’s basically just like using the iPhone but the Apple TV seemed to just load faster. You could also of course use a roku stick or firestick, I personally just like apple products.Very nice! What is the kit you installed? I'd want to use Google maps for this by mirroring my Pixel 6Well the first thing I did was mirror my iPhone so Apple Maps, Waze etc was better for nav. It’s a kit by a company called Beatsonic, they’re out of Cali. You can use androids too I also have a pixel 6 pro. U just use an MHL adapter instead of apples lightning/hdmi adapater and they work the same way. What is the kit you installed? I'd want to use Google maps for this by mirroring my Pixel 6
Absolutely, what u do is hold the cruise control lever towards you for 2sec and it switches back to stock reverse camera. Whenever u want to switch to that hdmi again, u just hold for 2sec again. Very seamlessThanks for sharing your modification. My question is, do you still have the back-up camera integrated and usable?
Please share a link to the specific kit. I browsed the site, specified my car on their drop down search form and no products are displayed. 2016 Model SIt’s a kit by a company called Beatsonic, they’re out of Cali. Right, you use your phone or remote to control everything. My guess is that touch screen won’t work with this kit. You will have to control it using your phone screen or Apple TV remote.
See the caution on using AP1 in the YouTube video comments.Right, you use your phone or remote to control everything.
Yea all u do is turn the mirroring on first, then do your auto pilot not the other way around. I don’t have AP anyways but that’s how u do it if you do have it.See the caution on using AP1 in the YouTube video comments.
Yes works with both mcusWould this work with a MCU2 2014 model s?

meh... overpriced, given that they did not even bother to fix the audio sync issue by having an video delay.
I expect some Chinese Aliexpress version to make it better, and cheaper soon.
We shall see, for now it’s not even noticeable to me
