Yeah it did...they need to fix that...and also put the close X on the correct side for rhd cars

The PIN to drive is annoyingly too far left as well (but that's always been over there).

 

Pin to drive moves around the screen, so as not to give a hint at the PIN number by following the finger prints.

 

Any window can also be closed just by swiping it down anywhere within the window or swiping up/down on the icon for it in the dock (e.g. car, music )

I learnt something new the other day too!

The demist icon for the front windscreen: press it once and it puts the fan speed to 5, press it twice and the fan ramps up to 10.

 

I notice you have a "favorites" tab under your dialer. I don't have that, despite having 2019.40.50.5. I have a Samsung Note 9 phone. Is there something i need to do to enable this? Is it for iPhone only?

 

It's just the favourites I have in my iPhone, i.e. a pre-configured contacts lists

 

Doubt it, it's probably there to stay now - leaves room for the "Navigate" button to stay on the right.

 

Taking 50.5 now even though I was on standard setting for software updates.

 

There were issues with my voice commands after 2019.40.50.1 update. 99% of the time, my commands were unrecognised or didn't even register. However, after the 2019.40.50.5 update the voice commands seem to be working fine now. Haven't had a chance to test out what else has been improved.

 

Do we have consensus that 50.5 is worth updating to? I've been holding off letting .1 install after all the reports of problems!

 

I upgraded to 2019.40.50.5 last night and now my rear camera doesn't show anything (except the white lines when in reverse). Worked fine yesterday on 2019.40.50.1.

 

That's sometimes caused by sentry mode not giving up control of the cameras - unplug the USB stick and give it a few hours to fix itself - usually works.
