Installing factory front license plate bracket

One thing to consider is that the license plate bracket is held by bottom part only with 3 screws. If you use adhesive I am not sure if it’s strong enough without support for the top half of the bracket.

Merrill I removed the nose cone and put it on my wooden workbench face down. On the inside you'll see 3 raised circles that correspond to the mounting holes on the bracket. I used 3 half inch hex washer self-drilling sheet metal screws. I drilled into the center of the center hole from the inside. Flipped it over and attached the bracket. I then drilled the other two from the front and installed the screws. The supplied plate screws were too long for the top holes so I just used the bottom two holes. It's on there good and snug. In the future I may drill the top two holes so I can use the other two screws. Here's the mounting screw I used. Hex head screw.jpg
