Instant Braking Huge Improvement Trick!!

Mountain Pass Performance had mentioned that the factory spring clips on the front calipers "4 of them total" are very high strung and keep the pads off the rotors to the point you have a long pedal travel before the brakes kick in.

After consulting them we came up with a quick solution and the braking feel is Significantly improved..

Pull out the 2 clips on the back side of the front caliper.. they easily pop out.. Bend the outsides of them inwards as much as possible.. re-install back in the caliper (you willl need to take your wheel off to re-install as the springs need to be aligned to touch the brake pads edges...so you need good visibilty....

Done.. 70% improvement in braking pedal feel instantly... no rattling, issues, nothing..

I assume it will impact efficiency. No idea how much but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was ~1%.
