Picked up the wife's LR RWD on Friday and after adding it to our Liberty Mutual policy I decided to shop around for a better price. To my surprise AAA, which I have belonged to since forever, does not insure Tesla vehicles. When I asked why the agent wasn't sure but believes its because, her words, when a Tesla gets in an accident they are more likely to be totaled rather then repaired.
