Integral links. What do they do?

I'm trying to find out why my MS with coils is so bouncy especially in colder temperatures. I'm thinking maybe some of the suspension rubber bushings are getting hardened over time.

Anyways, looking at the rear suspension there are small "integral links". What purpose they serve on the suspension and how would one notice a deterioration of the integral link rubber bushing?

Integral links are an.....integral....part of a multipoint suspension setup. The main purpose of the integral link is to evenly distribute brake and acceleration torque to the different arms in the suspension so that your alignment doesn't go bonkers under heavy acceleration/braking.

Your suspension may be bouncy in colder temperatures because the hydraulic fluid in your shocks is cold. Likely not because of bushings....if they were that bad, your alignment would be off and you'd hear banging/knocking.
