    Interbrand Releases 14th Annual Best Global Brands Report: Tesla Motors is not on it.
    But next year this top 100 list will be all different, and Tesla Motors will surely be on the list as well.

    Just as a note on the methodology:
    • At least 30 percent of revenues must come from outside the brand’s home region
    • It must have a presence in at least three major continents, as well as broad geographic coverage in emerging markets
    • There must be sufficient publicly available data on the brand’s financial performance
    • Economic profit must be expected to be positive over the longer term, delivering a return above the brand’s operating and financing costs
    • The brand must have a public profile and awareness above and beyond its own marketplace.

    My company is on the list (mid-tier) and I'm shocked that it's there ... we are also an Interbrand customer so that may have something to do with it. Take this stuff with a huge grain of salt; I think there are more important recognition standards for Tesla than this.
