Interesting error when I started my car this morning

Got a "park assist disabled" when I got into and tired to start my car this morning. Had to do a hard reset to get it to boot. Interesting since my P85+ is a pre AP car.

My pre-AP S85 had 8 parking sensors. It did not have automatic parking.

Refers to the parking sensors. The AP parking is "AutoPark" in the Tesla nomenclature

Had that happen once, it's the parking sensors not working. The error disappeared the next time I took the car.

Any crap on your sensors? Bird doo, mud, etc.? Maybe even moisture from rain or fog? I have had that happen in my AP1 car in winter when there is snow or ice on the car.

12pack is correct. This error is for the parking obstacle sensors, not autopark. I've had this error on my non-AP MX a few times in the winter when wet snow, ice or slush accumulated on the front of the car and disrupted the sensors.

Car was clean nothing on the sensors at all.

If it's recurring, it may be a loose or faulty sensor. The Service Center can repair that fairly quickly.
