Not sure if I should get my hopes up, but I just checked my design on the dashboard and noticed that my price had gone up from $102,520 to $103,420. The difference is two new options listed, "Parking Sensors" and "Lighting Package". I confirmed on 7/11 and just got my vin (#18030) yesterday. I haven't yet heard from a delivery specialist, so I don't have anybody to definitively say whether these are legit or a bug, as I know the Euros have the parking sensors. The view my design button has also disappeared from the dashboard in the interval. I sure would take the parking sensors for $500 if that's in the cards, not sure what the lighting package is. Any thoughts?

Maybe that's the rear fogs? Only thing I can think of (and not needed in NA spec)

Elon told me fog lights would be returning after a redesign as a separate option...

Lighting Package in Europe is only interior lights:

Für mehr Ambiente in Ihrem Model S wurden einige LEDs so platziert, dass das Licht nicht störend von der Winschutzscheibe reflektiert wird:
    Beleuchtung des Kofferraumes
    Beleuchtung der Türen
    Fußraum-Beleuchtung der Rückbank
    Türrahmen-Beleuchtung der hinteren Türen

    Translation:

For more atmosphere in your Model S some LEDs have been placed so that the light is not reflected disturbingly by the windscreen.

    Lighted Trunk
    Lighted doors
    Lighted foot area rear seats
    Lighted rear door frames

Yeah, I'm not a professional translator... Hope this helps anyway.

I already have all of that in my car (unless "door frames" means something other than the red warning lights in the door jams) . I was curious why only the rear footwells are illuminated and not the front...

I think we'll see this, the other European options and couple of other options come up at the Q2 conference call, or in a separate announcement 1-2 weeks later -- announced as either Model S 1.1, or Model S MY 2014.

Parking sensors are available for Europe. But when will power folding mirrors be available?

Too good to be true, I guess. The profile has been fixed as of this morning, and the parking sensors and lighting package have disappeared. Still, raises suspicion that these options could be incoming any day. I keep checking the Tesla site to see if they show up as an option before my car goes into production.

    2. scroll to the bottom, click Choose Region, select Other Europe*
    3. go to Design Studio

    * When I tried this with Great Britain, the Design Studio was broken. The entire non-picture-selection options area was blank and the right-hand-side order tally (in black) was missing. Weird.

Irradiator - I had the same thing happen - the new features were listed on my design yesterday, then the design link disappeared - and today the design link is restored sans parking sensor and lighting package. Maybe this is a hint of soon to be available features...

It's great that Tesla got all of this working in time for the European/Asian rollout. We'll be next.

I have a strong suspicion you can safely add a zero to each of those prices and replace the currency symbol with a $ and you'll probably be roughly on target for the retrofit cost.

The parking sensors are a welcome addition. However, can this be added for those of us who took delivery in the last 30 days. As you age, depth perception seems to change, so I would love it if we can have this option added.
