Interesting Wheel Design /Fremont delivery center

    I was at the Fremont factory for a tour last week (very cool) and saw this Model S in the parking lot with an interesting wheel design, have never seen this wheel option before:

    I can see why they discontinued it - likely due to lack of interest

    I think the lack of appealing esthetics in this design was a big factor behind the lack of demand.

    IIRC it was a $1500 option and IMHO that is what killed it. As a no-cost option I might have selected them.

    They looked much better online when they were available then in real life. Personally, it makes the MS wheels look cheep.
