Interior issue

Don’t know how this happened but have an issue with inner door pillar trim separating.
Does it just clip together?

You sound like Tesla service.... it’s within spec. No but seriously I’ve seen this complaint on other cars.

The lower/black trim has some white clips on the back that clip into the metal b-pillar. There aren't any clips on the seatbelt adjuster trim that clip directly to the b-pillar.

Oh holy cow. Sorry I was looking at the interface between the light and dark pieces. That is way out so definitely take it in.

Yeah I going to take it in once this weather clears up. I am just puzzled how that happened.

That's horrible. Did you buy the car new, and no accidents? If yes and no (respectively), did you try pushing it in place? If it doesn't 'click' into place, you'll probably need a new trim piece. But I wonder why it became loose. That's crazy. Good luck.
