What does the interior temperature represent? It is 5:30 a.m. here in South Florida, the outside temperature is 71 F and my Model Y is in my garage with the app indicating the interior temp is 83 F. Just trying to figure out where this reading comes from.
The interior temperature reading comes from inside the car. Specifically, inside the HVAC system. The outdoor ambient temperature sensor is in the front grill.
Do you know specifically where in the front grill the outdoor ambient temperature sensor is located? I am getting odd readings when I first start driving the car, where the outdoor temperature reading can be 10 degrees off.
I know what you’re saying. My external sensor is always off. Usually about 10 degrees. It takes about 45 minutes for it to get to “normal” which is about 3-4 degrees above my other car.
