Intermittent headlight failure

I’m having this issue where one or the other headlight beam stops working for a period of time. Not the entire assembly, just one of the beams. Replaced the bulbs and cleaned and tightened the grounds just for good measure, but no luck. Anyone experience this?

2014 P85D having the same issue. Toggling power will cause it to come back on…until one, or the other goes out again.

Haven’t tried fixing it, but would’ve tried everything you did. Hoping someone has a solution or good suggestion on here as well.

I just ordered new control unit modules. We’ll see how that goes.

I had that happen then I changed the bulbs and it was good. Then the opposite one started going out so I contacted the bulb manufacturer and got a replacement and no issues since

I’d believe that but for me the same intermittent issue is happening with two sets of bulbs.

Don't know if those are HID bulbs, but I have had those exact symptoms with HID headlight on another car. The problem was not the bulb, but the ballast unit.
