Intermittent Tire Pressure Monitoring System Malfunction

I have been getting a Tire Pressure Monitoring System Malfunction alert which says it could clear next drive. I think it has something to do with Home Link. I seem to get it when I pull into the garage. It did clear the first time after some driving. Anyone else experience this?

I get it all the time if I drive for an hour or so at highway speeds, been that way for years unfortunately.
The odd thing is I can look at the pressures on the cluster and they look fine.

I just got this error message today for the first time ever, but it had nothing to do with Home Link. I was still about a mile from home. However, I did just replace snow tires on the wheels, so I thought it might be related to the wheel locations' reshuffling. I reset TPMS monitoring in the service menu and will see if the error repeats.

Sounds like the sensors were not properly programmed. I got this error several times when I put on new wheels with aftermarket sensors. They were not programmed and the system threw errors all the time. They have subsided, but I haven't been on any long drives in the past couple weeks to test.

I have a non genuine sensor on one wheel. When the wheel is fitted at the rear, no errors. But when fitted at the front, I get errors messages.

I switched to the winter tires today and the same message appeared to me as well: "Tire Pressure Monitoring System Malfunction alert which may clear next drive". Not sure what may get cleared in the next drive..

Same, in my case I believe the signal is weak from the sensors being that they are well over 5 years old

update: Tesla's SC told me that after driving about 60km the sensors should work again. and indeed, after driving around 50km they got activated again, so all working as previously.
