Hello Forum,
I own one of the first model 3 performances delivered (mid-September 2018). Fully optioned out. Only mods worth mentioning are of course cosmetic: full body clear wrap (paid to install), interior wrap to cover the piano black (did myself), center cap delete, and aftermarket mud flaps because Denver, CO.
I’ve been wrenching on cars for over 20 years and probably owned 25+ cars including fix-and-flips and part outs. I came up wrenching on what I call “Japanese muscle”, DSMs and CSMs (mitsu/dodge) and turbo Nissans in particular. Used to drag race a bit. Tried to get into road racing (built a car or two) but the hobby was too expensive for me at the time. My Tesla is the first car I haven’t really been able to mod.
My other car (wife’s) is a 2018 Audi SQ5 with some light mods. I plan to “chip” it soon (APR).
