We have reached out to Tesla for additional comment and were told, “We don’t comment on rumor and speculation,” by a Tesla spokeswoman.

If that was true someone would have posted already. Also why wouldn't tesla charge more for more hardware? Seems like an easy sell

Tan is awful in general but Tesla's tan is 90's bad.

I have no answers. Just trying to be careful... The last time something similar happened, they just simply integrated the AP system without telling anyone. A simple announcement was made after the fact that all cars that were delivered from XX/XX/XX were delivered with the AP system. There was no price difference. My car was delivered 3 days before that date so in effect, my car became less valuable 4 days after I got it.
