Inverter Reserting?

I recently had a Tesla solar install. No inspection or net meter installed yet. Those appointments are made by them I guess.

looking at the app however it appears to me something is resetting or failing on a consistent basis.

is this an inverter resetting?

Do you also have powerwalls? That's what my solar looked like when I was off grid. The house was running off the PW and solar would only turn on if the powerwalls could also be charged

Also, a friend accidentally exported excess solar pre-pto and it didn't decrease his bill.

I just don’t understand why it’s shutting down for 5 -10 min at a time. You’ll notice I changed the settings in the Tesla app around 1:30 to be “advanced” vs “self powered” and the crazy on/off behavior seems to have stopped.

I'm relatively new to this, but I find your latest screenshot interesting bc you aren't exporting to the grid. Your app isn't showing that you are in backup mode (grid down) and you even appear to be drawing. Do you happen to have a new install with the powerwall 2+ and the backup switch?

New install yes. I’m not sure the version of power wall.

That’s what I was wondering. Seems like a pattern based on time of day and more best during the reset times and also higher dc from the panels. Did they have to replace the inverter?

It’s Tesla’s own brand.

Current Transformers. They monitor the current so the flows can be shown in the app. Yes they fixed it. Simple fix. CTs installed wrong has been a very, very common issue reported in this forum.

just a display issue. That said, I don't know if the TEG makes any bad decisions based on the bad data

I think it does. Because the power wall isn’t charging during the times the inverter appears to “drop out”.
