Investors Business Daily - Tesla Patents, Gigafactory Hint At Better Battery Range

The December 19, 2014 IBD has a front page article and a corresponding page 4 article regarding
a future look at Tesla battery technology, via an analysis of recent patents that Tesla has filed and
applied for. The goal appears to put in a lot more range into the same volume and weight, with
ranges of 400 to 500 miles possible. In the short term, via motor and control efficiency improvements,
gains from 5 to 15 percent could be possible.
