Has anyone with the issue tried unpairing your iPhone from the car.
Telling both to "forget" the connection, reboot both the phone and car then pair it back?

I’ve never had this. Every time I get in the car my iPhone 13’s volume is whatever it was. Absolutely nothing changes. Maybe there’s some setting we’re overlooking that can be adjusted?

I've had my MYLR for two weeks now. Every time I exit the vehicle the ringer volume on my iPhone has been turned down to zero.

I've tried everything I can think of. When I get the next iPhone, I'm not going to restore it from an iCloud backup. Maybe the issue is somewhere within the backup.

Workaround for this on an iphone is to go to Settings, Sounds & Haptics, and turn off "change with buttons."

Your volume will not change when you get in/out of the car as a result. However you will not be able to change the ringer volume manually with the buttons on the side of your phone

Did anyone ever come up with valuable solution I have a 2018 model three and every time I get in my car the main volume/ringer turns really low. Also if I go between tabs I.E. Twitter, Facebook google the volume control little dialog box opens up on my phone.

Sounds like a bug in iOS, so it is something that Apple needs to fix on their end.

If iOS works similar to Android then it will lower the volume to 0 (car mode) while connected to the car (any modern car) and then automatically restore the setting to what it was once it disconnects from the car.

The workaround is to go to iPhone Settings -> Sounds & Haptics -> Change with Buttons -> Off

MYP 2023 and i have iphone 12pro. Both all up to date software. This volume lowering happens every time. I tried all setting recommendations and checked everything. So annoying!
