IR coating for rear window?

My model S is coming next week and I will immediately need to put my dog in th trunk area. Meanwhile I've been reading about how there's no IR coating on the rear window, and that it gets very hot in the sun. Is that still the case?

If so, any New Yorkers out there who can recommend a good place to get that done in the NYC area? Thanks.

I'm not quite sure what the difference is between UV/IR and "Solar absorbing".

Is ceramic clear? Or available in clear? I'd prefer it without tint if possible.

Yes, you can get it with little to no tinting.

My guess is that the windshield cuts UV/IR, and the rear window only cuts one or the other. (Or maybe neither and just a little bit of visible light instead). Just a guess though.
