Is a Madison, WI show room/service center coming soon?

The service center is slated to be on the west side of Madison, where the old Jaguar/Land Rover dealership is located. Next to SlumberLand off Gammon Road. The City just approved the plans at a Planning Commission meeting back in January.

Some info can be found here on the Tesla Club WI webpage: Owner FYI — Tesla Club Wisconsin
That is awesome!! Thanks for sharing. I'm in Middleton so that would be SUPER handy. :) Thanks again.

I stopped over there today to look around. I took a few pictures. The remodel efforts are definitely underway. :) It looks like this trench is to setup several charging stations on the side of the building.

Some more pictures of the new service center/showroom on the west side of Madison that I took today. They have a security camera setup in the parking lot so I'm taking these at a bit of a distance to avoid getting on camera. But I think you can see that progress is being made. Looks like the interior is going to get some new tile soon, the trench from my earlier pictures are now in concrete and look to be charging spots. I'm assuming the roof is having some work done and lastly looks like they could be bringing in some additional power in the corner of the parking lot. Enjoy.

The permits online show them replacing the HVAC system, and a power upgrade. I imagine those will be HPWC. They will most likely have a supercharger but that is for service use only so they can quickly charge up cars

This is fantastic news. Every time I go to the Milwaukee one it’s always 4 trips (drive to drop off, drive back, drive there for pickup and drive back). One time I had no A/C in summer so that was interesting :)
Service Centers no longer have public Super Chargers. There will be the new west-side Hy-Vee Super Charger a few miles east of the Service Center

Is this always the case? In Denver area there seemed to be a bunch of Tesla Superchargers.
Always? No. But in 90% of new locations Tesla has built or opened over the past 3 years, any superchargers have been for service/sales use only. And a good number of the older locations that had publicly available superchargers in the past, Tesla has opened a new supercharger in the city/area and then delisted the existing supercharger at the service center from the navigation and switched it to service/sales use only. There are still some places where this hasn't happened yet, but it is the clear trend.

Thank you for elaborating!

I'm a little late on posting these, but somewhat recent photos for the new Madison showroom. Looks like they are done tearing up the old tile in the showroom area, finished installing the new transformers at the corner of the property and also completed the install of the new A/C unit on the roof. :)
