Is anybody creeped out passing a truck on AP?

Frankly, I'd like to see some 'trim control' on AP. Current implementation you can only a) leave it on and have it get closer to things (trucks, concrete walls in construction zones, etc.) than a human driver would find wise or b) take over manually. Not quite sure how to implement though. The best user interface would be to read a light pull on the wheel as a bias setting ('lean' a little away from the truck and it moves over a bit). But that is currently used for disconnecting Autosteer. Alternatively it would be nice to be able to disconnect ONLY autosteer (leaving the TACC on) in a more subtle way. As it is, the amount of torque needed on the wheel tends to produce a passenger-scaring wiggle when it releases. Yes, you can push the stalk button but that kills TACC too. Ideas?
